Taking Your Cam Life Beyond the Web

One of the best parts of being a cam model is being able to manage your time on your own terms. Camming does afford you a lot of freedom and flexibility, but if you want to build your camming empire, you better spend that time on things that will make you money in the long run.

The foundation of your income is your relationship with your fans, and the best way to strengthen it is making them part of your day-to-day. Your friendship doesn’t pause the moment you go offline; just like with real-life friends, you should integrate them into the other aspects of your life — or at least create that sense of connection for them. So how can you keep your fans happily engaged and supportive when you're offline?

After you enter the dressing room, take some photos of your cute new lingerie, send it to your fans and tease them, asking what they’d like to see you wear during your next cam show.

SUBSCRIPTION-BASED SERVICES

Does your cam site have fan clubs or premium social media functionality available, and have you opened your content page there yet? If so, now’s the perfect time to remind your users to subscribe to it during your next cam show. Otherwise, go start your fan club as soon as you finish reading this article.

Some models tend to get comfortable and forget to update content in their fan club regularly, but this costs them profits. Users subscribed to such services are paying extra money, so they should be treated accordingly with new photos and videos.

MESSAGING FOR THE WIN

Often, your chosen cam site’s messaging function allows you to send content and require payment for it, like video on demand. You can even use a mass message feature to ping all your fans at once, which can generate a good amount of cash in an instant. It doesn’t get more efficient than that. Or you go the opposite route by adding a personal touch with messages tailored to each fan.

When you’re traveling somewhere and unable to cam much, take photos and send them to your fans, just as you would send them to your friends or family members. You can add footnotes to your clips such as “I wish you were here with me, but in the meantime, here’s a piece of paradise for you.” This can work wonders.

INVOLVING FANS IN YOUR SHOPPING

When you go to the mall to get some new clothes, you can play around with trying on different outfits and asking fans for their opinion. Giving them a voice is important, and listening to it even more so. Giving them the chance to choose your look for the next show or for your offline life will wrap them around your finger. For example, after you enter the dressing room, take some photos of your cute new lingerie, send it to your fans and tease them, asking what they’d like to see you wear during your next cam show.

And so long as you’re giving shopping a whirl, there are few better ways to make offline money than having a dedicated wish list using a service like Amazon. You can load it up with all kinds of sexy heels, lingerie, makeup and more. Just make sure to hide your address when setting it up, and have gifts shipped to a P.O. box. And when a fan orders an item, thank them by either offering a special one-on-one cam show with you using the item or a cute video thanking them by name.

By offering fans a variety of ways to keep in touch with you whenever you're not streaming, you'll ensure long-term engagement and greater offline profits.
